Many retail customers in Denmark and Europe know our white cheeses under the newest brand name – Taverna – which brings the atmosphere of the Middle East right into the consumer’s kitchen. The product range comprises cheese types that come from the Balkans and the eastern areas of the Mediterranean. Good examples are the Turkish inspired Beyaz Feynir, a Domyati which is well known in Egypt, and Gybna Baida which has Arabic roots. In addition to the completely white cheeses, the Taverna range includes a number of convenience products such as white cheese in cubes in different oil and spice brines – all ready to set on the table.
