Preparation time: approx. 15 min. + 30 min. in the refrigerator

Grill cheese with tomato salsa

 4 ripe tomatoes (approx 350g), in coarse pieces 
 1 onion (approx 50g) in coarse pieces 
 2 small cloves garlic, sliced 
1 tbsp mild chilli sauce
 1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt

Grill cheese:
 250 g Taverna Grill cheese
 1 beaten egg yolk 

Accompaniments: Black olives and baguette 

Tomato salsa:
Chop all ingredients, e.g. in a food processor at highest speed for approx. 10 sec. Place the salsa, covered, in the refrigerator for approx. 30 min. Season. 

Grill cheese:
Cut the Grill cheese into approx 1cm slices (halve the slices if they are too big). Place the Grill cheese slices on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil and brush with egg yolk.
