Grill cheese with chilli, with strawberries and reduced balsamic vinegar

• 125 ml balsamic vinegar
• 50 ml cane sugar
• 12 small fresh strawberries
• 1 packet of Taverna grill cheese with chilli

Mix the vinegar with the cane sugar in a small saucepan and carefully heat until it comes to the boil, and then allow to simmer over a medium heat until it thickens and has the consistency of a thin syrup. Rinse the strawberries and pat dry. Cut the chilli cheese into 12 equal pieces. Grill the chilli cheese on a warm grill pan – alternatively use an ordinary frying pan. Place a toothpick in each piece of cheese and then a strawberry. Drizzle with the warm balsamic glaze. Serve immediately as a little aperitif.
